Happily married with one kid. Chemical engineer. Although I've always maintained a healthy level of fitness, I didn't pick up running until junior year at BYU. Now I live in Idaho, where I leave for work at 5am and don't get home until 5:40pm. I try to get a short run in during lunch time at work and then a little something else after work. Some might call that a weekend warrior, but I make an honest effort during the week as well. Say hello!

Came in an hour early and got a good run in. First outside, then on treadmill as foot traffic picked up for the start of the day. (10.35 in 1:22:35)

Came to work early. Made a last-minute decision to do a workout this morning, on an "track" comprised of several low-traffic roads at work (they are no-traffic roads at the time I went). 

4x0.8T w/ approx 1 minute rests. This is all approximated. I didn't want to use the lap timer on my garmin and just did this by feel. It went pretty great, and I estimate that I ran a 7:00 pace on the sets. Did 8 strides afterward. (6.03 in 45:00)

Easy run around the neighborhood after work. Even with the heat it felt good to loosen up muscles that were surprisingly sore from this morning's small workout. I'm so grateful that my ankles could stand even a small workout. I'm hoping (again) that the ankle issues are past. (4.12 in 33:52)

Early to work again. A little sensation in the ankle. Nothing alarming, but I stopped anyway and switched to strength training. All running was outside. (3.7 in 30:00)

Went to work early. Ran a mile outside before incoming traffic picked up, and the gym opened. Then used the treadmill until the start of the day (1.03 in 8:20 and then 4.2 in 32:52)
