Long-Term Running Goals:

Finishing a marathon in under 3 hours. This is actually my goal in my upcoming marathon in May 2019.

Personal:

Happily married with one kid. Chemical engineer, now studying statistics. Although I've always maintained a healthy level of fitness, I didn't pick up running until junior year at BYU. Now I live in Idaho, where I leave for work at 5am and don't get home until 5:40pm. I try to get a short run in before work and on a blue moon I do a little something else after work. Some might call that a weekend warrior, but I make an honest effort during the week as well. Say hello!

Long easy run on the treadmill. Ankle was a little sore yesterday and I ended my run earler than planned. Today it was fine for longer than I planned! Back to normal workouts next week. (16.2 in 2:05:10)

Early in. The bus got in about 20 minutes later than usual. It was also a fun mile walk to the bus stop. This is the first time I've felt like I was slowly being turned into a snowman since I moved to Idaho. 8 strides at the end. Still no ankle soreness, yay!(7.9 in 1:00:00)

Early in. Workout day. Missed yesterday because the bus took 30 minutes longer to get to work due to the ice. 3x1mile lactate threshold with 1 minute rests, 3 minute rest, 3x3minutes VO2max with 2 minutes rests, 8x200m repetitions with 200m rests, cool down. (10 in 1:11:20)
